    Proud of you Buddy :) mastersamuel: You look at me and say, “Sammy, I love you. I love everything about you. Everything that is ‘you’ was designed by me and I delight in you.” Thank you, Jesus, that that’s the picture of love that seals my relationship with you. That the divine romance I embarked on has led me out of a monochrome existence and into freedom. That you see the real me, and every time I’ve called myself unlovable, dirty, ashamed, you turn around and call me the opposite.  Thank you that the promise of new life starts now – that dying to myself was the best decision I ever made because in its place was Life with a capital L, the presence and friendship of the God who died for me, and the fullness of being who I was made to be. Every day you are exchanging my dreams for yours, and showing me that yours are better anyways. You have placed in me a joy that laughs at the uphill climbs of this world, and a hope that glows in the dark. So Jesus, I thank you and I love you for showing me who I am, convincing me that You love who that person is, and at the end of it all, asking me just to be me.

The story of Humdrum Town is derived from the shockingly normalized reality we find ourselves in and hopes to inspire new, modern-day exoduses from our own Humdrum Towns.
